Lamp Lighting Ceremony – 2013

The lamp lighting ceremony of 68th at batch of GNM and 10th batch of B. Sc Nursing, was held on 21st  December 2013 in TMM College of Nursing. The programme started at 2.30 pm with the Processional Hymn “May we be a shining light …” in a standing

It was followed by invocation by Mr. V. M. Abraham, Ex. Executive Director of TMM college of nursing. Welcome address was given by Mr. Shiju Thomson George,Administrator TMM College of Nursing. Chairman Col(Retd) Mr. Alex Varghese the versatile personality gave a touching message to the parents. Mr. T. T. Thomas, President TMM CoN gave the presidential address. Introduction of theChief Guest Prof. Dr. Saleena Shah Vice Principal Govt. College of Nursing kottayam was done by Mrs.Sindhu C. Philip Associate Prof. TMM CoN.

Prof. Dr. Saleena Shah rendered a thought provoking speech and then lighted the main lamp. Prof. Mrs. Nahomi Clement(Principal, TMM CoN) and Mrs.T. Mariamma George(Principal, TMM SoN) passed over the lights to the students. Mrs. Ribu Ann Mathew, In-service education co-ordinator TMMH and Mrs. Anu Mathew, Associate Professor TMM CoN distributed the Bibles to the young Nightingales. Prof. Mrs. Blessy Rowly Mathew, Vice Principal of TMM CoN led the students to recite the Nightingale Pledge. Dedication song “Lord, make usinstruments…” was lead by Nursing students-2013 batch.

Felicitations were done by Mr. George Koshy, Secretary TMM SoN & CoN, Mr.Reji Sam Cherian, Joint secretary, TMM SoN &CoN, Mr. Giboy Varghese, Administrator, TMMH & SoN and Rev. Fr. Issac B. Prakash external faculty, TMM CoN

Mrs. Libi Mariam Binu Vice Principal, TMM SoN expressed gratitude to all those who made the occasion a great success

The program was concluded by a theme song by students of 2013 batch and prayer and benediction by Mr. Abraham Thomas, Chaplain, TMMH.
